AV Media Systems Engineer Location: London - Onsite role 12 Mth FTC – Possible permanent role after this duration We’re partnering with a well-renowned, globally recognised production studio which is a true pioneer in virtual production, visualisation, and digital human creation, working on projects for global brands in film, fashion, music, sports, and immersive experiences. Their expertise allows filmmakers and storytellers to create their greatest work, from initial concepts to final productions. Whether it’s the major streaming platforms, blockbuster cinema releases, or major iconic events, their work has been seen by millions of people across the world. They have a busy schedule of large-scale projects commencing in September and are looking for a Mid-level AV Systems Engineer to join their team and work on these exciting projects. Key Responsibilities: * Ongoing care and upkeep of Virtual Production equipment, including cameras, tracking systems, cabling, and AV signal flow. * Collaborate with the camera department on set, managing calibration workflows between takes or lens changes. * Assist with daily calibration of equipment * Troubleshoot video feed, tracking, and calibration issues with the Virtual Production team. * Communicate changeover status or camera changes efficiently to the team. Qualifications: * 3 Years+ experience working as an AV Tech/Engineer with proven track record of working on virtual production, motion capture, live events * Well versed working with end clients and have a professional approach * Strong troubleshooting skills * Flexible nature with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks & activities simultaneously Experience working with disguise media servers and Unreal Engine would be a massive plus point, but isn’t essential – Full training will be provided where necessary.
