Trainee Electrical Operative

Trainee Electrical / Street Lighting Operative Vector are excited to offer a permanent, site-based opportunity for a Trainee Electrical Operative to join our clients Street Lighting Team, located around 6 miles south of Norwich. This role is perfect for individuals ready to build a career in either the highways or electrical sector. As part of the street lighting team, you’ll conduct inspections and maintenance of street lighting assets. Using a tablet, you’ll update the Asset Management system and ensure the equipment is in excellent condition. Comprehensive on-site and off-site training will be provided, with the chance to earn a Level 2 Diploma in highway electrical systems. The Job   Inspecting, maintaining, and installing street lighting equipment. Recording assessments via the Asset Management system. Working safely outdoors and at heights. Attending toolbox talks and training sessions. What We’re Looking For   A full UK driving licence. Comfortable working outside and with technical tasks. Minimum 3 GCSEs (including English, Maths, and a science). Flexibility to work shifts, including an emergency call out rota.
