Key Responsibilities * Thorough Damage Assessments: Carry out detailed evaluations of both exterior and interior vehicle damage. * Advanced Assessment Techniques: Use cutting-edge tools and technologies to accurately assess the extent of damage. * Detailed Reports and Estimates: Prepare comprehensive reports, providing accurate estimates for repair costs and completion times. * Collaboration and Communication: Liaise effectively with insurance companies, customers, and repair technicians to ensure seamless communication and resolution of repair issues. * Stay Updated: Keep informed of the latest industry standards, repair techniques, and technological advancements in the accident repair field. * Customer Service: Maintain high standards of professionalism and deliver excellent customer service. Requirements * Proven Experience: Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) or similar role within an accident repair or bodyshop environment. * Software Expertise: Proficient in using Audatex and Autoflow for vehicle assessments. * Automotive Knowledge: In-depth understanding of vehicle systems, parts, and repair processes. * Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using damage assessment tools and relevant software. * Strong Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively. * Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in assessments and reports. * Adaptability: Ability to thrive both independently and in a fast-paced, dynamic bodyshop environment. * Qualifications: Relevant qualifications or certifications in vehicle damage assessment are preferred.
