Electrical Field Service Engineer

My Client seeks an Electrical workshop / Field Engineer with some mechanical skills for pumping systems. Duties Diagnostic troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and overhaul of pump fleet, including ancillary equipment/fittings. Programming of PLC controls (Training can be provided) and final electrical connection on site installations. Key focus on electrical pump fleet although involvement on diesel units also. Be prepared to conduct job both in depot and on external sites not under the employer’s control. Experience / Skills • Served a recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship. • Minimum two years’ experience of similar type products in a service environment. • Capable of using appropriate tooling and diagnostic equipment. • Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team. • Good verbal and written communication skills. Qualifications, 18th Edition qualification • Full UK driving license • CSCS preferred but not essential.
