An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Sous Chef at a renowned independent gastropub near Wolverhampton. Offering a 4-day work week, this gastropub is known for its innovative menu, excellent service, and welcoming atmospherean ideal environment for culinary creativity.
As a Sous Chef, you'll support the Head Chef, manage kitchen operations, and lead and train the team. This role is perfect for a passionate chef with experience in fresh food, looking for a senior position in a friendly and supportive setting.
Sous Chef Job Highlights: Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per year (based on experience) + Tips + Bonuses
Contract: 40-45 hours per week, depending on preference

Sous Chef Job (Ideal) Candidate: Experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Partie in a fresh food-focused restaurant
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
Passion for culinary arts and creativity in dish presentation
Due to the location, a valid drivers license and access to your own vehicle are essential.
