The team works across the Built Environment sector improving relationships between developers and the communities where they operate.About the roleAs we grow, we are looking to bring in more talented people to help us deliver high quality work for our clients. We are looking for an engaged and experienced new team member to oversee the day to day management of client accounts in our Communities and Placemaking team, identify issues which affect our clients, and help to develop new business.We are looking for applicants with previous community engagement experience and / or agency experience in the property, planning communications or placemaking sector, or those who have a passion for local government and a knack for speaking to communities.You would be joining a strong team supporting a wide range of engagement and communications projects across the country, and we will need you to be comfortable working independently from an early stage.The successful applicant will have:Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to present confidentlyThe ability to empathiseA proactive attitude, with the ability to manage your own workload and spot opportunities to add value for clients and the businessAbility to manage colleagues, depending on the teamSome knowledge of local government, planning system and/or client relationship management is desirableResponsibilities will include:Working as part of a dynamic teamSupporting the delivery of community engagement and stakeholder management programmesHelping to devise and implement strategies to achieve client goalsTaking responsibility for your own area of new businessDesigning and managing events for clientsBuilding your own professional contact network
