Neurodiversity Schools Adviser

Neurodiversity Schools Auditor 6 months Interim Contract/ Statement of Work up to £500p/d (up to £34,000 full statement of work earnings) Outside IR35 London – Local Authority (Hybrid)    Are you passionate about driving positive change for neurodiverse children and young people in schools? We are seeking a proactive and experienced professional to take on the role of Neurodiversity Schools Auditor. In this role, you'll have a direct impact on improving the educational experience for children and young people who face challenges in a neurotypical classroom settings. Key Responsibilities: Conduct audits of 40 schools across two London boroughs, focusing on both school environments and communication strategies. These audits must be completed before the Christmas period, after which you will develop strategic action plans for each school. Ensure that schools implement the recommended changes by providing oversight and support throughout the contract. Collaborate closely with teachers to enhance their communication with neurodiverse students and ensure that classrooms are adapted to meet the needs of all learners.Key Skills and Experience: Expert knowledge of neurodiversity in children, especially in school settings. Proven experience auditing school environments and communication methods for neurodiverse children. Desirable background in SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), ideally with experience as a SEND specialist or teacher.
