TeacherActive are proud to be working with an esteemed children’s residential home provider to source a permanent Senior Residential Support Worker for their Telford 3 bed EBD home. Consistency is key with young people, you can have a major impact on children’s lives. This home is based in a tranquil setting which currently houses 1 young person, due to this the home is very settled and is looking for a final senior to complete it's core team. The ideal candiate would be used to complex needs children and childhood trauma care and support.  Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker role requires: Minimum 3 months working with children/young adults in the education or care sector (Desirable) Minimum Level 3 NVQ in children's residential care or equivalent (Desirable) A full UK driving licence (Desirable) The Residential Home can accommodate children up to 18 years of age. Due to the nature of this post the Department for Education National Minimum Standards state that the support workers must be 4 years older than the oldest resident. Therefore, applicants must be 22 years of age or older.
