The Opportunity

We are seeking Sales Managers to lead, coach, and manage our Sales teams. Our Sales Executives provide excellent service, meeting the needs of both new and existing trade clients. Your role will involve overseeing client accounts, fostering strong relationships, and collaborating closely with the team to consistently meet and exceed client expectations. With a solid understanding of our products and industry, your team will rely on your guidance to drive sales, overcome challenges, and grow their skills.

This position is crucial to our business success. You would be expected to drive sales through our sales executives and teams. Ideally, you bring industry experience and a proven ability to meet sales targets by managing and developing a team. Reporting to the Sales and Business Development Director, you will also handle operational tasks like reporting and analysis.


Key Skills Required

Ability to lead, motivate & inspire your team

Industry experience, knowledge of interiors, furniture and luxury sales

Experience of trade sales desirable (B2B)

Outstanding interpersonal skills, you must have the ability to lead by example with client relationships

Experience of managing a team, developing and upskilling them

Excellent organizational skills, being able to perform multiple tasks whilst managing own time management

Ability to logically and systematically approach tasks and/or projects, to work under pressure and deliver within deadlines & budgets

Can demonstrate high personal standards and good team working practices. Build working relationships across the company with all other functions within the business

Must possess excellent communication skills both oral and written. Clear, concise & tailored communication with clients is essential

A driven salesperson mentality, someone who thrives on working to, and exceeding, sales targets and motivating others to do the same

Computer literate; knowledge of MS Office

SAP knowledge would be very beneficial


Accountabilities

Provide training and coaching to your team to help them be the best they can be

Support your team but understanding how they work, gaining quick understanding of common issues and helping to overcome these

As manager, you will help handle any more difficult client requests that may be escalated

Leading your team in the management of their trade client accounts, help generate new clients and leads, working towards achieving a team target, and ensuring sales fulfilment is smooth and pain free to enable optimised sales performance.

Generating sales reports, analysing these and using data to make useful suggestions

Assist with general administration and other tasks as required by our Group Head of Sales

Promote our Company values and consistently demonstrate these
