Role Overview
As a WordPress SEO Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of WordPress websites. You'll work closely with the creative and marketing teams to ensure the websites are visually appealing, user-friendly, and perform optimally across all devices, with a particular focus on SEO.
Key Responsibilities
* Design & Development: Create user-friendly, visually appealing WordPress websites that align with business objectives.
* Performance Optimization: Ensure websites are optimized for performance on various devices, with a strong focus on mobile-first design.
* SEO Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to identify and implement SEO strategies, particularly for blogs and landing pages.
* Content Management: Regularly update and manage website content to ensure it remains current and SEO-friendly.
* Testing & Troubleshooting: Perform website testing to identify and resolve any technical issues.
* Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard the website.
* Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and best practices, and explore new projects, including potential app development.
Requirements & Skills
* Experience: Proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
* Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
* Design Focus: Experience with responsive and adaptive design, with an emphasis on mobile-first development.
* Analytical Insight: Ability to interpret user journeys and analytical data to drive data-led changes.
* SEO Expertise: In-depth understanding of SEO principles with a commitment to maintaining industry-leading knowledge.
* Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills for resolving web application issues.
* Aesthetic Sensibility: Strong understanding of website architecture and design aesthetics.
* Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
