Our client, a global consultancy are looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team on a maternity cover contract.


THE ROLE OF MARKETING MANAGER:


- Thought leadership. Identify opportunities for thought leadership by following emerging trends and conducting competitor and market research. Work closely with internal stakeholders and consultants to draft/ create thought leadership, pitching and placing TL in strategic media outlets.


- In-house events and webinars. Identifies opportunities for events and webinars. Manages the complete process of an event/ webinar including planning stage and ensuring we get the most out of the follow-up process.


- External events. Finds networking events and industry conferences for senior staff members to attend. Helps staff members conduct research ahead of the event to identify targets and ensures new prospects are logged on SF and followed up with in a timely manner.


- Coordinate marketing and business development efforts. Lead business development-focused meetings with the aim of coordinating business development and marketing efforts across all teams and service lines.


- Oversee marketing materials. Work with the design team to create, update and maintain the firm’s marketing materials. Ensure materials, including brochures, one-pagers, staff biographies, case studies and client quotes, reflect the latest brand positioning.


- Coordinate account management process. Support strategic account management efforts by monitoring accounts and action plans. Identify opportunities to cross-sell and expand these relationships.


- Lead submissions. Manage and actively contribute to strategic submissions (i.e., Chambers).


- Internal communication. Work with the Director of Marketing and Business Development to help the wider department understand business development strategy and on-going marketing efforts.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THE MARKETING MANAGER ROLE:


- Experienced Marketing Manager with experience from the professional services sector. Ideally legal but all other professional services areas considered.


- Strong organisational and time management skills


- Strong written and oral communication skills


- Client focussed, results driven


- Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving capability
