Senior Java Software Engineer – $25million funded scale-up! Fully remote in the UK (1 day per quarter onsite in City of London office) Does Java development, multithreading and low-latency sound like your bread and butter? A FinTech providing solutions for the Fixed Income and Derivatives markets are building a brand new eTrading product from scratch and are looking for some Senior Java Software Engineers to join the team. As the Senior Java Software Engineer, you will be: ✅ Designing and optimising multithreaded Java applications for low-latency and high-throughput systems ✅ Building and maintaining large-scale distributed systems with a focus on scalability, fault tolerance ✅ Handling high traffic and data processing in performance-heavy environments . ✅ Designing and developing high-performance, scalable, and secure APIs Day-to-day, the tech stack includes: Core Java, multithreading, low-latency, concurrency, distributed systems, APIs, Aeron, BDD, TDD, CI/CD, pair-programming and Agile methodologies.
