Company Description socialed is a fast-growing social and video production agency based in London, crafting content and social strategies for ambitious brands in the lifestyle and luxury space. We are going through an exciting growth phase and are seeking another new videographer and editor to join our growing content team. The successful candidate will be a creative, out-the-box thinker, with excellent editing skills. This role allows for a lot of progression as the agency grows, so we're looking for someone keen to learn and grow. Previous agency experience is a bonus, but we’re very focussed on quality of work and ability to collaborate with our wider team. Role Description Pre-production management for ongoing client projects. Creative strategy and ideation for current and future clients, in the form of strategy decks, director treatments and pitch proposals. Shooting social-first content for a range of lifestyle, FMCG & luxury brands. Editing, grading & sound design across a range of client (and own brand) projects. Client liaison & project management to ensure a high quality & efficient workflow & client success. Qualifications Extensive Experience with video production, including planning, shooting, and editing video content. Extensive Experience using video editing software, ideally DaVinci Resolve. 2D motion design a must, and 3D motion design skills a bonus. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with clients and team members effectively and professionally. Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when necessary. Experience in short-form and social-first video editing is important. Knowledge of social media platforms and trends is important. Additional language is a huge bonus (ideally German). Candidate Profile A suitable candidate will be competent based on the description, potentially more importantly an ambitious, confident and eager to learn individual. We’re not looking for the finished product instead someone looking to find a new home, to grow and, at the same time, contribute to our mutual success. We’re open to new graduates or those who are seeking professional experience in lieu of a formal degree. Salary range: £26-32k per annum. Beginning September 2024.
