Night Operative

Job Title: Night Warehouse Operative
Location: Needham Market, Suffolk
Salary: 25,000 - 27,000 per year

We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join a team at a family-run business that plays a vital role in the food service distribution industry. As a Night Warehouse Operative help and ensure that the customers receive top service and quality products.

You will be part of a close-knit team dedicated to providing food for hundreds of customers such as schools, care homes, restaurants and many more. Your contributions will make a difference as you work alongside enthusiastic colleagues who take pride in their work!

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing customer orders for dispatch
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Stock replenishment and management
• Manual handling of stock, including heavy lifting
• Ensuring stock is rotated effectively
• Maintaining general housekeeping in the warehouse
• Complying with company and legislative Health & Safety standards

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment
• Comfortable working in cold conditions, as freezer and chiller work is required
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Valid FLT license (experience is advantageous)
• Experience using warehouse management systems WMS (desirable)
