Senior .NET Developer Fully Remote

My client, a leading FinTech business, is hiring for a dynamic and innovative .NET Developer to join the team on a fully remote basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and experienced team dedicated to building high-quality, FS products.
The Role:
This full-time, permanent position involves working closely with a talented group of developers and engineers, reporting to the Head of Engineering. You will play a crucial role in developing and architecting new products, ensuring best practices in development and testing, and driving continuous improvement within the team.
Key Duties:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and applications.
Drive development best practices and ensure high performance and quality in the codebase.
Engage in proactive problem-solving and quickly adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Participate in knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Skills:
Proficiency in .NET Framework, including C#, MVC, and Web API.
Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of version control (GIT) and continuous integration/deployment processes, including Azure DevOps.
Knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) and writing unit and integration tests.
Understanding of Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex issues.
Effective communication skills to express ideas and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Desirable Skills:
Proficiency with Azure (including Azure Service Bus, Functions, and Blob Storage).
Frontend experience with React or Blazor.
Familiar with MongoDB.
Understanding of cloud architecture concepts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
Experience with messaging systems, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of various Coding Design and Architectural Patterns, such as Microservices, CQRS, Event-Driven Architecture and Domain Driven Design (DDD).
