They are looking for a talented Golang Developer to join their already talented team in Belfast. In this role, youll be instrumental in designing and developing cutting-edge security solutions for cloud-native environments. You will work closely with other teams to deliver scalable, high-performance, and secure software, ensuring the company stays at the forefront of the cybersecurity industry. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable applications using Golang. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement microservices architecture. Optimise applications for performance and security across cloud environments. Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to decision-making. Write clean, maintainable code and follow industry best practices. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and security trends to maintain our clients competitive edge. Requirements: 3+ years of professional software development experience, particularly with Golang. Expertise in cloud-native development and experience with platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. Proficiency with containerisation tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Understanding of security principles and best practices, with an interest in cybersecurity. Desirable Skills: Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation. Familiarity with database technologies like PostgreSQL or MongoDB. Understanding of agile development methodologies. Knowledge or experience in network security or cloud security is a plus.
