Girling Jones are working with a leading Tier 1 partnership to support their expansion as they prepare for the initiation of AMP8. Seeking new experienced MEICA / MEP staff to be a part of South West Waters clean water projects (non-infrastructure framework). Right now, our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer.
Leadership experience is essential as well as a relevant degree, however we are open to discussions with those holding equivalent MEP design & construction experience, authority, and qualifications.

Your new employer:
- A renowned 25 year long partnership has led out client to great success in providing fully integrated civil engineering feasibility, design, construction and commissioning services to the UK water sector, with a focus on innovation, affordability, and flexibility
- Leading from the front with delivery of multi-disciplinary design for either water or/and non-infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, UK water industry standards and industry best practices
- Utilise your extensive knowledge and experience in the water sector to provide expert technical guidance and support to junior engineers and team members
- Conduct thorough technical reviews of electrical designs, calculations, and specifications ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Extensive experience working in the UK water sector, including hands-on experience in the design and construction of water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and related infrastructure
- Knowledge of the Designer and Principal Designer duties under CDM2015 is essential
- Full UK driving licence
