ROLE – Product Design Engineer
LOCATION – Oxfordshire TERM - Permanent SALARY - £35,000 to £45,000 per annum
Premier Group are currently recruiting for a Product Designer to join the design team of a company working within the design of a range of products going into multiple industries. You will be taking a leading role on the projects and assuming a large amount of responsibility. The materials in use would be a mix of metal, plastic as well as design for 3D printing.
Ideally, we would like you to: Be skilled in using 2D and 3D CAD software (Solidworks) 2-5 Years experience as a Product Design Engineer Worked within the Aerospace industry Be able to create models / prototypes Be technically minded Have a product design/ engineering related degree Have experience designing products/ projects from concept to completion Strong Design for Manufacture skills
Responsibilities: Develop your ideas from concept to production. Sketch ideas and develop concepts. Create models/prototypes. Do market research, visit clients and listen to their feedback. Use all manufacturing processes. View and review tooling trials – potential for overseas travel. Quality test new products
