Regional Sales Manager, Packaging Equipment – United Kingdom Location: Remote & Field-Based Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 plus commissions This is your opportunity to join a leading packaging machinery manufacturing company committed to driving innovation in the industrial automation and packaging sector. Role Overview: As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be crucial in attracting new regional industrial equipment accounts within the food and beverage industry. Your expertise in selling capital equipment coupled with your understanding of engineering principles will enable you to build and nurture high-level relationships and influence key decision-makers. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while requiring field engagement to develop strategic relationships and drive sales growth. Key Responsibilities: Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the food and beverage sector to expand our client base. Strategy Execution: Develop and execute targeted strategies that drive sales growth and position our company as a leader in packaging solutions. Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders that influence decision-making within prospective accounts. Client Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure the successful integration of solutions and services that meet client needs. Demonstration Planning: Set up and prepare for product demonstrations, effectively communicating our solutions' value and benefits to prospective clients. Sales Pipeline Management: Prepare quotations, manage a healthy sales pipeline, and achieve quarterly sales targets through diligent follow-ups and strategic outreach. What We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes: A degree in engineering or significant engineering experience. Proven experience in selling capital equipment within the food and beverage industry. Exceptional communication and listening skills, with the ability to articulate complex value propositions. Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset. Highly organized and self-motivated, with the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
