Multi Trade Carpenter

TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award-winning organisation on an exciting new project in the Thames Valley Region, covering certain areas of the following postcodes: RG, SL, TW, GU, KT. They are looking for experienced Multi Trade Carpenters/Joiners to become part of an ever expanding and skilled team, working on a long-term social housing contract. Company vehicle and fuel card provided. MAIN DUTIES * Responsive building maintenance on domestic properties. * Installation of new kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes, doors, windows etc. * Diagnose and rectify faults within core and other trade related repair requests. * Responsive maintenance in occupied properties. * Building fabric repairs * Reactive maintenance. * To ensure that the quality of work always meets the highest possible standards. * Undertake all work efficiently and cost effectively, minimising non-productive time wherever possible and reporting any difficulties encountered to the Resource Controller and /or Supervisor. Hours: Monday – Friday, full-time. Pay: £160 per day using company vehicle and fuel card CIS REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS * NVQ trade qualification(s) * Multi trade experience * Full current driving licence. * A DBS check is required before commencement of role & Basic Asbestos Awareness certificate (can be completed after offer stage)
