Bar Manager

This is a very exciting opportunity for an experienced Bar Manager to join an ambitious business during its opening phase. Opening beginning 2025, this new restaurant will be in a prime location in Mayfair and aims to elevate the seafood offering in London. Staying true to provenance and with a keen focus on quality, it aims to deliver a memorable and sophisticated dining experience. Featuring an open kitchen and a wood-fired grill, it will offer a delectable selection of seafood and a raw bar on the ground floor in addition to the 104 cover restaurant, a cocktail bar, and a 24 cover Private Dining Room on the lower level. The Role: Bar Manager This role is perfect for someone who has experience leading the bar of a busy restaurant, creating and developing cocktails menu and are looking for their next big step up in their hospitality career. You will take full accountability for the Bar, before during and after service, and working in partnership with the Head Sommelier, will ensure we create exceptional experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for all bar stock, reporting any quality-issue/variances, missing deliveries and wastage. You will be proud to deliver a memorable beverage product and service, and will use your extensive experience and training skills to develop the team around you. The Skills: Previous experience as a Bar Manager in a premium high volume Bar / Private members venue; Proven ability to recruit, train and lead a team of people Holder of valid Personal License, or knowledge of UK licensing Laws Passionate about cocktails, spirits, beers and wine Comprehensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beers and wine, and ambitious in drinks design Skilled in training preparation and delivery Confidence in finances, purchasing, menu costing and budget/profit management A working knowledge of health and safety, compliance and procedures The Benefits: As we prepare for our grand opening, we have curated a fantastic selection of work perks so we can be certain to attract the very best people in the industry.
