About the Role As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for performing a wide range of repairs, diagnostics, servicing, and occasional MOT testing (if qualified) on various vehicle makes and models. Key Responsibilities Conducting vehicle service, diagnostics, and repairs to high standards. Liaising with Service Reception and Workshop Control to ensure smooth operations. Occasionally interacting with customers to offer technical insights and expertise. Staying updated on product knowledge and new technologies. Upholding excellent customer service standards to build customer loyalty. Maintaining a tidy and organized work area and adhering to all necessary documentation requirements. What We're Looking For Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Motor Vehicle Service & Repair (or equivalent) is essential. Experience: At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a dealership or independent garage environment. MOT License: Preferred but not essential. Driving License: A full, valid UK driving license is required. Attributes: We value candidates who are organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working well under pressure. Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic are essential.
