Repairs Surveyor - Housing

A well-established Housing Association in East London is seeking an experienced Repairs Surveyor to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a small, local patch with the flexibility of hybrid working. Client Details Our client is a leading Housing Association in East London. Description Key Responsibilities: Conduct pre and post inspections on responsive repairs for tenanted and void properties. Diagnose property defects and ensure repairs are completed to a high standard. Oversee contractor performance, ensuring works are completed on time, within budget, and in line with safety standards. Ensure health & safety compliance across all repair works. Liaise with residents, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.Profile What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a repairs surveyor within social housing. Strong knowledge of building regulations and health & safety standards. Experience with pre and post inspections of repairs. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to manage your own small patch effectively.Job Offer What is on offer? Hybrid working Umbrella rate of £35 to £40 per hour Contract initially until 31st March 2025 Immediate start
