Location: Crawley

Salary: Circa £61,500 per annum + 10%-20% Bonus

Are you an experienced Production Manager with a passion for rolling stock and a keen eye for detail? We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Rolling Stock Production Manager based on the outskirts of London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire production process of rolling stock, ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage and lead a team of skilled production staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards are met.
• Coordinate with other departments, including engineering and logistics, to streamline production operations.
• Monitor production KPIs and continuously seek ways to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Prepare and manage production schedules, resource plans, and cost estimates.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a production management role within the rolling stock or rail industry ideally, we will consider other transportation industries.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of production processes and quality control principles.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
