On behalf of our client, an innovative leader and manufacturer of printing inks, we are seeking a dynamic General Manager Sales (m/f/d) . This role emphasizes strategic sales leadership and business development, driving the subsidiary's growth, profitability, and market expansion. Sales & Business Growth Sales Strategy : Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to expand market share and drive revenue growth. Create and execute sales plans that target high-potential markets and clients. Sales Leadership : Oversee and inspire the sales team, setting ambitious targets and ensuring optimal performance. Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on delivering results. Sales Process Optimization : Continuously improve sales processes to increase efficiency and conversion rates. Implement metrics and reporting systems to track performance and make data-driven decisions. Set sales targets, business goals, and financial plans to ensure sustainable growth. Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in key markets, especially in niche sectors where the company has a competitive advantage. Operations Management Operational Efficiency : Oversee non-production operations such as logistics, warehouse management, and custom services. Risk & Compliance : Ensure that operational processes comply with relevant regulations, identifying areas for improvement and cost optimization. Financial Management ~ P&L Oversight : Take ownership of financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management. Work closely with the ownership to report on financial results and propose actions to improve profitability. Sales Expertise : Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in a senior sales or business development role, with a track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market presence. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams, with a focus on strategic sales execution. Financial Acumen : Strong financial expertise in P&L management, budgeting, and pricing models. Commercial Understanding : A background in industries related to printing inks, printing machines or similar, with experience in customer-centric sales strategies.
