You'll oversee and deliver planning, on the field player development, and help manage our existing coaches & team manager. YOUR IMPACTFUL ROLE ?? As our Academy Head Coach, you will: • Oversee and Deliver Training, and oversee Matchdays - Develop the training syllabus and session plans. - Lead the management, oversight, and support of team manager training sessions and matchdays -Deliver coaching on our club nights • Player Development - Collaborate with SZ coaches and team managers to prioritize and enhance player development. • Player Pathways - Strengthen connections with our soccer school Skillz UK to transition players into SZ United. - Build relationships with academies for showcase games, including ongoing development with Catania FC (Italian Pro Serie C club) • Manager & Coach Development - Work alongside coaches, managers, our coach developer, and Academy Directors to offer hands-on support, elevating coaching standards across the team. ?YOUR SCHEDULE ? During the season Monday: 5.45-8.15pm (Club training night) Tuesday: 5.45-8.15pm (Club training night) Wednesday: 5.45-8.15pm (Team training night) Thursday: 5.45-8.15pm (Team training night) Saturdays: 8.30am-12.30pm (Home Match Days) 4hrs Admin & Planning time per week During half terms and school holidays Saturdays: 8.30am-12.30pm (Home Match Days) - usually October & Feb half terms 4hrs Admin & Planning time per week Pre-Season Monday: 5.45-8.15pm (Club training night) Tuesday: 5.45-8.15pm (Club training night) Wednesday: 5.45-8.15pm (Team training night) Thursday: 5.45-8.15pm (Team training night) 4hrs Admin & Planning time per week ?OVERTIME AVAILABLE?
