We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales and Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new sales opportunities and providing accurate quotations and tenders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the window glazing market
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for accurate project estimates
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for window glazing projects
- Present proposals to clients and negotiate terms to close sales
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure timely and successful project delivery
- Stay updated on industry trends, products, and competitors to effectively address customer needs
- Ability to maintain customer information by using the in-house CRM system
- Capable of compiling Sales and Estimating reports
- Ability to work on the preparation/writing of PQQ’s and tender bids
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales and estimating, preferably in the construction or glazing industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
- An understanding of CAD Drawings is advantageous
- Experience and or training in operating standard window, curtain walling, architectural computerised estimating systems
