IT Lead Buyer

This is an excellent opportunity for an IT Buyer to join this growing procurement team within a leading IT Support business. Our client offers their customers a range of the best market-leading products and services to streamline complex business processes and increase efficiency. You will be responsible for purchasing the equipment and licenses for their world class IT solutions. This role will give you the chance to enhance your procurement expertise while receiving targets training to expand your technical knowledge and capabilities. THE ROLE: Working closely with internal teams, including sales, projects, and engineering, to ensure that our customers receive top quality equipment while securing the best value for our business investments. You'll play a crucial role in refining our tender processes and procurement standards. Conducting regular tender exercises and evaluating suppliers to ensure our procurement activities keep us ahead of the competition. This role goes beyond operational tasks; you'll collaborate with senior team members, contributing to strategic projects and refining our procurement approach to align with business goals. Overseeing the delivery of equipment and licenses across a range of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of technology solutions for customers through careful planning and coordination. Partnering with project managers to ensure that our internal teams have the necessary equipment and resources available when needed, facilitating efficient project execution. Monitor and deal with general correspondence and e-mails from customers and suppliers to ensure their needs are met and, where possible, exceeded. THE CANDIDATE: You will ideally have one years' experience within a similar role and posses the following skill set; Procurement and Supply Chain Management. Project and Task Management.
