It enables us to tap into a diverse, talented range of experienced international bankers, who understand our core markets and who are aligned with the Bank’s ambition to make a difference in the markets in which we do business.Role SummaryHelping to support, develop and facilitate the Bank’s Compliance Framework, by way of updating books, records, and registers. Proactively works to improve the function through individual and team efforts, as well as identifying, resolving and mitigating any related issues. ResponsibilitiesAdministrative – Maintaining and documenting compliance processes, procedures, records, registers, systems and controls. Compliance Monitoring Actions – Assisting in the chasing and completion of any outstanding actions with other departments.Data Protection – Assisting the Data Protection Officer in further developing framework, conducting investigations and recording documentation.Projects – Assisting in ad hoc projects and thematic reviews as required by the Head of Compliance.Regulatory Horizon & Rule mapping – Helping the Horizon Scanning area to analyse and track emerging risks. Assisting on mapping of rules on the new system. Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceMinimum of 2 years’ experience of Compliance administrative and projects.Understanding and exposure of the UK financial services regulatory environment.Prepared to further develop skills and knowledge on the role.A confident, self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and a personal commitment to continuous improvement of controls and processes.A problem solver who can stay calm under pressure and demonstrate forward thinking with the ability to adapt to all personalities and form positive relationships with colleagues.Please apply in the first instance via this advertisement.
