LTF Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic individual, that would be confident to support secondary school students with their learning and development. This role is at a welcoming secondary school, located in the Derby (DE21) area. The school are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their welcoming school and work collaboratively to support students. This is an amazing opportunity to work with a supportive team, in a friendly and warm secondary school. Role Responsibilities: Provided support to secondary aged pupils, promoting engagement with learning Support students with special educational needs Monitor and track student progress, and report back to relevant members of staff Work collaboratively with classroom teachers/support staff to ensure that the best possible support is provided Person Specification: Previous experience of working with children/young people A qualification/degree is desirable for this role, but not essential A passion for supporting students to reach their full potential An Enhanced DBS and two professional references are a requirement for this role If you feel you would be the right fit for this role, then please apply through submitting your CV.
