We are now seeking an innovative and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and help shape the future of our culinary offering. You will lead and inspire a passionate kitchen team, ensuring that every dish reflects the high standards Forgan's is known for. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute seasonal menus that highlight the best of Scottish produce and deliver a memorable dining experience. Lead, mentor, and train the kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment. Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including stock control, budgeting, and supplier relationships. Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards, with a focus on consistency, presentation, and quality. Maintain a strong focus on sustainability, minimising food waste and ensuring efficient use of resources. Uphold food safety and hygiene standards in line with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with the management team to meet financial targets and contribute to the restaurants success. Requirements: Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-quality restaurant environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Passion for Scottish cuisine and locally sourced ingredients. Creative approach to menu development, with an eye for detail and presentation. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
