Construction Manager

Job Opportunity: Construction Manager Location: Burham Salary: Up to £85,000 per annum + car allowance An experienced Construction Manager is needed in Burham to work on a large wastewater treatment site. report directly to the Operations Manager. The role includes managing health, safety, environmental, and sustainability compliance for all construction activities, while leading a local construction delivery team to ensure projects are completed successfully and within scheme deliverables. Key Responsibilities ·Lead and manage site construction teams to deliver projects within approved budgets and timelines. ·Oversee supplier performance regarding safety, time, and quality, ensuring risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are appropriate and adequate. ·Take charge of constructability reviews, project rehearsals, and Fit for Assembly sign-offs to drive innovation and enhance performance. ·Focus on minimizing waste and reducing embodied carbon within construction activities. ·Ensure timely submission of contractual and commercial notices to the Project Team. ·Collaborate with the Lead Construction Manager to identify resource needs (labour, plant, and materials) for short- and long-term projects. ·Foster a safe working environment where the team feels empowered to raise safety concerns. ·Implement a blend of standard products and innovative techniques to maintain an industry-leading position. About You Skills/Experience ·Temporary Works experience or qualification. ·Project management experience with a degree or equivalent in a construction-related discipline. ·APMP or equivalent certification. ·Extensive experience managing large-scale construction programmes. ·Industry experience in water/wastewater treatment. ·Proficient in managing and monitoring project programmes. ·Strong knowledge of CDM and construction health & safety regulations. ·Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with clients and end users. ·Results-driven, with the ability to set and meet targets. ·Able to lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver time, cost, and quality objectives. ·Strategic, operational, and technical management skills with commercial awareness.
