Data Center Engineer

CDS, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) , providing field service capabilities to Hewlett Packard Enterprise customers as well delivering the difference in business oriented services, such as development, support and maintenance of applications, virtualisation, automation, cloud and infrastructure administration. Providing Server hardware support across a multi-vendor environment, Hardware consists of HPE Servers, Dell servers. Provide Data Centre cabling activities installation, termination, patching and testing of all DC interlink cabling ( i.Provide Data Centre Facilities management activities such as but not limited to IMAC\D (Install, Move And Change, decommissioning) work, escorting external resources, requesting access, goods in/out. Based on customer sites in Lewisham and London Docklands covering 24/7 365 based on 12hr shifts. Responsible for the delivery of solutions within named accounts; Installations, maintenance, and repairs on customer equipment. Installation, termination and testing of all data centre interlink cabling ( i.Strong Customer relationship building skills. Must have strong knowledge of HPE Proliant, Blade servers & Dell Servers.
