Vehicle Process Build Engineer

Expleo are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Process Build Engineer for our well established client based in Essex on a contract basis. This position requires a high level of collaboration with the special vehicle development team and end users to develop proposals that meet their specific use case requirements. The role focuses on delivering industry-leading uptime and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Skills Required:

• Manufacturing Process Development: Expertise in developing manufacturing processes for vehicle modifications, including body, paint, and electrical systems.
• Facility Installation Knowledge: Understanding of facility installations necessary to deliver vehicle modifications across body, paint, and electrical systems.
• Process Metrics Achievement: Proven ability to achieve process metrics such as JPH (Jobs Per Hour), CPU (Cost Per Unit), HPU (Hours Per Unit), and FTT (First Time Through) for added content elements.
• Process Improvement: Skilled in identifying process improvements and training the operating team to implement revised processes.
• Cost Savings Development: Experience in developing and reviewing cost-saving opportunities, providing technical justifications, preparing for projects, and implementing changes.
