Workshop supervisor

Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a Workshop Supervisor to their team on a permanent basis. You'll be based in Dyce. Hours: Monday - Friday (39hrs) or condensed 4-day week Salary: Depending on Experience Daily Duties - Manage fabrication and machining projects in production identifying appropriate resources, equipment and allocation of work areas Schedule production effectively to ensure delivery of projects are within budgeted man-hours Ensure plant, equipment and production tools are available, maintained, calibrated and serviced Check timesheets verifying hours are correct and booked to correct job Attend meetings to aid business and organisational development Complete detailed handovers for nightshift, advise PRP's when projects are ready for NDT/PLT, and manage coating activities Candidate Requirements - Experience within a machine or fabrication shop Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Manage pressure and conflicting demands to prioritise tasks and workload Previous experience in a similar role If you, or anyone you know would be suited to this role, please forward your up-to-date CV, salary expectations and notice period to
