Electrical Estimator - Electrical Engineering Our client, an Electrical Engineering Contractor are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join their team due to an increase in workload and company growth. As the Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of Electrical Installation projects across a range of sectors including commercial, educational, food, accommodation, and industrial throughout England. Firstly, what's in it for you? £50,000 - £60,000 PA (DOE) Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Annual Bonus (Twice a Year) Car Allowance - £500 - £600 a month Business Mileage (45p/mile for the first 10,000 miles, 25p thereafter) Bupa Private Health Insurance Life Insurance (£2,000 coverage) Enhanced Pension Scheme (5% employer contribution, 5% employee contribution) Company Mobile Phone 25 Days Holiday + Bank HolidaysElectrical Estimator - Electrical Engineering Responsibilities Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical engineering projects Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents Collaborate with design and installation teams to ensure estimates reflect project requirements Conduct site visits to assess project scope and gather relevant information Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing Prepare bid proposals and ensure timely submission of estimates Analyse and assess project risks, ensuring all contingencies are accounted for Monitor ongoing projects to compare actual costs with estimates and adjust future estimates accordinglyElectrical Estimator - Electrical Engineering Requirements Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the electrical contracting industry Experience in 2-3 relevant sectors - commercial, educational, food, accommodation, and industrial Strong understanding of electrical systems and engineering principles Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail Strong communication and negotiation skills Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite A relevant electrical engineering or related qualification is preferredStreamline Search is a technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the United Kingdom.
