What you’ll be doing In this role you will be tasked with delivering quality power electronics solutions for a wide variety of applications from clean sheet through to fully validated, production ready hardware. For this role you will be embedded in a dynamic environment where you’ll utilise your sound communication and customer management skills to be successful. Your day to day might look a little like this: Managing projects to achieve budgeted margin and maintain an excellent relationship with customers Proposing innovative R&D projects to the CTO Providing technical leadership and guidance in the design of power electronic solutions Checking and approve electronics designs to the relevant quality standards Developing and maintain strategic relationships to build revenue streams in your sector A bit about you Ideally, you’ll be based in the UK. In order to be successful in this role you’ll be quipped with the knowledge of power electronics and magnetics technology as well as robust practical knowledge of the application of high voltage, high power switching power devices and power modules. A few other key skills our client is looking for: Degree educated Familiarity with major standards relating to electrical and functional safety Good customer facing skills and cultural awareness when working with a wide range of global customers and suppliers Strong expertise in thermal simulation and management for power electronics Strong passion for the role with the ability to adapt A methodical, structured approach to decision making and problem solving Want to hear more?
