Building Surveyor

We are currently partnering with a reputable South-Wales based Local Authority , who are recruiting for a Building Surveyor to join their growing team on a three month contract, with opportunities to extend past this. This is a full-time position with an hourly rate of circa. £32.00 per hour via an umbrella company and the start date is subject to notice. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Revisiting already assessed Category One properties, completing compliance checks and progressing these cases as required Completing surveys against the Housing Act 2004 Part One Identifying issues relating to Damp and Mould and structural issues Carrying out surveys in line with HHSRS Creating specifications of work for remedial works as required Carrying out enforcement on works in line with landlords for specialist works Requirements: Experience required in Social Housing Experience working with customers within housing HNC/HND or equivalent qualification Full UK driving licence Rewards and Benefits: Hybrid working – 50% home/office & site split Flexible working days Working hours: 37 hours per week Monday – Friday, flexible start/finish times Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
