Commercial Accountant

As the company enters its next phase of growth, they are eager to appoint a Commercial Accountant to help drive profitability and support business expansion. Drinksology is a young, dynamic, and rapidly growing company. Since its founding in 2007, they have collaborated with some of the world's leading spirits companies and clients. As the business embarks on its next phase of growth, they are eager to appoint an experienced Commercial Accountant to join their dynamic finance department. You will work closely with the CFO and finance team to prepare financial reports, maintain robust internal controls, and streamline financial processes. Your insights and expertise will help drive strategic decision-making, enhance financial performance, and ensure compliance across all business entities. The Role: Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Propose and develop appropriate KPIs for the business. Monitor and report on variances from the budget. Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions. Provide recommendations for cost reduction and profit improvement. Work with Finance Team colleagues to identify and drive business control and improvement opportunities. Analyse financial data and provide insights to senior management. Assist where appropriate with ERP system upgrades or improvements. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all financial information. Business Partnering with other departments to help support overall company objectives. The Person: Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA, CIMA Excellent commercial acumen Proven track record in financial analysis and forecasting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
