By democratizing high-end beauty and celebrating individuality, Pat McGrath Labs has redefined the industry's landscape.Role: Retail ArtistThe overall role of the Retail Artist is to deliver a great sale through an incredibly talented make up artistry and showcase a true in-store retail experience, by proving a first-class service to every customer. A retail artist must build a strong customer relation rapport, create loyalty for a new and existing Pat McGrath Labs customers, and showcase not just a true artistry skill but present a clear understanding in finding individual customer needs. Key Responsibilities: • Makeup Applications: Deliver a true artistry and an excellent first-class customer service to every customer, including consultations, demonstrations, and applications; • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of products, ingredients, and techniques to affectively advise clients;• Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, build strong relationships, stay proactive in attracting new clients to Pat McGrath Labs, and help maintain the ‘’VIP black book’’; • Sales: Meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly target’s & KPI’S set up by both Pat McGrath Labs and Retail group;• Visual Merchandising: Assist with maintaining store displays, visual merchandising, and ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards; • Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe environment for customers and colleagues;• Team Collaboration: Lead by a "team effort" example with professionalism, enthusiasm, and expertise, both in-store and externally, work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, share knowledge, and support each other; • Brand Representation: Adhere to full make up representation, matching the Pat McGrath DNA, and ensure styling and grooming are inspirational, trend-led and in line with Pat McGrath Labs and store guidelines, showcase a passion and talented artistry for the brand and the industry as a whole;• Stock Management: Assist the stock keeper with ensuring the counter is well stocked and organized, including receiving and processing shipments, and maintaining inventory; • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product launches, and techniques to continuously improve skills and knowledge;• Events and Workshops: Participate in events, masterclasses, and in-store workshops to promote products and build brand awareness, bring ideas to generate inspiring in-store and other retail opportunities. Required qualities: • Excellent level of make-up artistry techniques, in a high end luxury brand is a huge plus • Previous experience as a makeup artist, preferably in a retail environment• Strong knowledge of makeup products, techniques, and ingredients• Proven sales ability and experience working toward targets, minimum 1 year requirement• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Excellent track record of attendance & timekeeping, with flexibility to work weekends and evenings • Great team player as well as having the ability to work solo • A genuine passion for makeup and the beauty industry• A positive, friendly, and approachable attitude with a customer focused approach to work
