The Role: Maintenance Supervisor - Maintenance Team Leader
Location: Staines
Salary: 45k- 55k

The Role of a Maintenance Supervisor

  • Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will lead a small team of maintenance fitters responsible for the planned and re-active mechanical maintenance of the Recycling Processing Plant.
  • As Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for planning the scheduling of preventative maintenance and overseeing the adherence and timely completion of work carried out.
  • As our Maintenance Supervisor you will ensure that any mechanical problems are rectified as a priority, limiting down time of the production facility.
  • As our Maintenance Supervisor you will create a strong team work ethic and will mentor and motivate others.

The Successful Maintenance Supervisor

  • The successful candidate will have a relevant mechanical maintenance background, educated to minimum of HND in an engineering discipline and/or time served apprentice with a proven history of self-development post qualifying.
  • The successful Maintenance Supervisor will have experience working in manufacturing, waste management or with heavy plant machinery.
  • You will have previous experience of leading and managing maintenance teams.
  • You may be at a team leader level looking for the next progressive step in your career.
  • Ideally already trained to IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
  • Previous experience of carrying out risk assessments in the workplace and documenting safe working procedures.
  • A proven history of fault finding and implementation of corrective actions.
  • The Successful Maintenance Manager will have good communication skills and the ability to work positively in a team environment.
  • The Successful Candidate will have good IT skills.
