What you’ll do We are looking for a 12-month fixed-term HR Manager. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will successfully implement commercially driven HR policies, initiatives and solutions by working in partnership with senior leaders as an internal consultant and agent of change. You will also play a pivotal role in helping to evolve a supportive and dynamic workplace that fosters growth and excellence for all Adarma employees. Some of your responsibilities will be: Build trusted relationships and credibility with senior stakeholders and leaders in the business. Scope, influence, define and implement evidence-based and high impact HR solutions to deliver optimal people and business performance. Understand and anticipate the need for change, diagnosing underlying issues, build the case for change with stakeholders and successfully implementing solutions. Actively contribute to, and where accountable define policies, processes and tools that are strategically aligned, enhance employee engagement and ultimately improve organisation performance. Embed appropriate policies, processes and tools to attract, manage and develop talent within area of responsibility, engaging with key stakeholders effectively to ensure their consistent application across the business. Coach and build the capability of managers to deliver strategy through their people. Use data and analytics to formulate insights and measure the effectiveness of policies, processes and tools to further enhance their positive impact on organisation effectiveness. Provide input and expertise into the development of the overall People Strategy for the business. Maintain currency with external trends and best practice internationally in area of expertise or HR more generally. Act as champion and role model for the HR function and represent Adarma internally and externally as appropriate. Manage a small people function and provide coaching and guidance as needed. Where you'll be This is a hybrid role (2 days per week in the office) based from our Edinburgh site. More details will be provided during the interview process. What you’ll bring You have relevant generalist HR experience, gained within a medium and complex organisation with multiple stakeholders (including matrix relationships). You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of current thinking in HR issues and trends as evidenced through active CPD. Experience of working within a business partnering model and developing trusted relationships with managers would also be beneficial. Membership of the CIPD would be an advantage.
