Our client in Lowestoft supporting 7 Adults living in their own homes who have Learning Disabilities and Autism.
SUPPORT WORKER will be providing basic personal care, assist residents to cook, clean their room, ensure they have taken their medication, dressing, and make sure they attend their appointments to hospital, GP s, dentist etc.
The most important thing our service users like doing is activities in their home e.g. board games, X-Box, watch movies, arts & crafts, painting etc. They also love going out into the community doing activities such as dancing, planning music events, fancy dress parties, swimming, creative activities or shopping.
This is a very varied position, where no two days are the same.
Ideal applicant for this position will be a Support Worker or Care Assistant or someone who wants to train to be a Support Worker as full training will be provided. Fantastic, challenging, stimulating opportunity to make a positive career for yourself and receive a lot of job satisfaction.
