Design Technician

Design Technician County Armagh Vickerstock are recruiting for a Design Technician for our client based in County Armagh Our client is a leading specialist contractor and industry leader within the local market who specialist in High end joinery & fit out projects across sectors which include High End Residential, Commercial, Leisure and Marine. Due to continued expansion and an impressive pipeline of upcoming projects they are seeking an experienced Solidworks Technician to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced designer to join a highly reputable employer and progress their career on exciting high end bespoke joinery projects. Design Technician Role; Responsible for taking projects from concept to completion Produce 2D detailed drawings with relevant software Create job sheets for Production Quantify and requisition materials Attend site surveys & site visits to assist installation team Solidworks Technician Criteria; HND qualified or above within a construction related subject and/or a minimum of 2 years experiences using AutoCad or solidworks in a design and detailing nature. Experienced in high end fit detailing and design specifically for manufacturing. (Desirable) Proficiency in understanding how the project is put together (coming from a site or manufacturing background may be beneficial) Completed relevant industry qualifications / training.
