People Partner (12 month contract)

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Cura Terrae people team as People Partner to drive value and purpose in the business.


Reporting to the Chief People Officer and working within a talented people team the People Partner role will be responsible for supporting business leaders on all elements of the employee lifecycle from induction, performance and absence management, employee relations to TUPE and integration as we grow. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.


In this role you'll have the opportunity to own all HR matters from influencing business leaders, through to enacting meaningful change through projects including the ongoing development of our Natural HR system to streamline our processes.


Partnering with your business areas, you will proactively tackle people challenges and provide professional HR advice, support and guidance to management and employees. In addition, there are a variety of projects to get involved with which will assist in ensuring the Cura Terrae culture and core values are embedded.

You'll play a crucial role in enhancing the workplace culture, driving employee engagement and employee relations related issues.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that support our business objectives and promote a high-performance culture.
  • Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisal, and programmes to support professional development.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster a supportive and inclusive work environment.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure HR strategies remain competitive and effective.


What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in a similar level role whilst demonstrating leadership capabilities.
  • Level 7 CIPD qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into actionable HR initiatives.
  • Confidence with system development and using data to drive decision making.
  • Strong organisational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple different matters and keep track of critical deadlines.
  • Exceptional communicator, both written and oral, along with an ability to communicate professionally with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and to work collaboratively.
