Role: Maintenance Manager Shifts: Days Mon-Fri (8am – 4pm) Salary: Up To £60,000 + Bonus Location: Hayes Benefits: Bonus + Training + Healthcare + Pension + Good Working Culture The Company: My Client who I am proud to be partnering exclusively on this vacancy are a FMCG business with their sole manufacturing site in West London that distributes across the UK. They produce a number of unique goods at this site and having recently been taken over by a much larger company they have secured their future for years to come. This is a great time to join one of the fastest growing FMCG businesses in the UK! Their order book has been rising consistently over the last few years and the machinery on site is only a few years old too. As a result the business is in a fantastic position to really kick on and grow in size over the next 5 years. As a Maintenance Manager here, you will be able to drive forward Continuous Improvement and create some real positive change to the site with the full support of the Engineering Manager! The Role: The role of Maintenance Manager will include: Leading a team of Engineers, ensuring that workload is distributed according to their skillset Driving forward a culture of Continuous Improvement, getting the Maintenance Engineers to start thinking about root cause of issues rather than repeatedly fixing them Budget Control of spare parts, Contractor and OEM servicing Training, Appraisals, Disciplinaries for the Engineering team Working as a technical lead on site, helping support with fault finding and leading the Maintenance Engineers from the front Attend and contribute to daily production meetings with operations/production Getting involved with Project work on site, whether that be new machine installs, machine relocations or automation projects The Candidate: The right candidate for the role of Maintenance Manager will: Have a recognised Engineering Qualification (Mechanical or Electrical) Have experience working as an Engineer in a Factory Environment (Open to Industry) Communicate well with all parties including the Engineers and Operations Have experience leading an Engineering team Be able to effectively manage budgets Be Confident leading an Engineering team to success with a track record of doing this (Team Leader Experience is Ideal!)
