Title: Highly Specialised Dietitian Location: Sydenham, SE London Hours: 22.5 hours per week Permanent Salary: £38,601 - £49,325 per annum FTE, inclusive of HCA (Band 7 equivalent) £29,506-£33,295 inclusive HCA for 22.5 hours per week Founded in 1967, St Christopher's pioneered the modern hospice movement and is internationally renowned as a centre of innovation and expertise in the field of palliative care. Proudly celebrating over 50 years and with a turnover of over £20 million, we provide invaluable care and support to over 7,500 people across the five London Boroughs of Bromley, Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark. We are looking for dynamic, ambitious and experienced Dietitian to join the multi-disciplinary Rehab and Wellbeing team at St Christophers Hospice. The role will involve the provision and delivery of specialist Dietetic assessment and treatment for patients with life-limiting illness to optimise their independence and make a significant difference to their quality of life. The successful candidate will provide a clinical dietetic service across the in-patient setting, out-patient clinics and other venues as required, and work as part of St Christophers multi-disciplinary team, contributing to high quality, goal-focussed patient care and support. We are looking for: a person-centred Dietitian with sound clinical reasoning skills and the ability to deliver therapeutic, rehabilitative interventions across a complex patient caseload in a specialist palliative care setting experience across core areas of clinical practice advanced communication skills and ability to work well in a team We can offer you: experience working in a dynamic and forward-thinking team of specialist AHPs within the Rehab and Wellbeing team development of specialist knowledge and skills in palliative care rehabilitation support in working closely with death, dying, and loss opportunity to work within a wider expert multi-professional team Opportunities to develop additional skills such as teaching, research and quality improvement Access to NHS pension scheme (if already a member) Closing Date: 13th October 2024 Interviews: TBC Registered Charity: 210667 TPBN1_UKTJ
