Job Requirements / Description
Our client is a Lloyd's and London Market Insurance brokers and they are urgently recruiting for an experienced Insurance Technician to join their busy North American Property team -where knowledge of Forestry business would be an advantage.
Class of business can be described as multiclass -PI/D&O/GL/Aquaculture/Agri/Property and parametric (wordings provided) across facultative / binder and treaty.
This role is hybrid -4 days working from home and 1 DAY IN THE OFFICE (LONDON EC3) LIKELY TO BE TUESDAYS
Ideally you will have 4 + years’ experience which includes North American Property with Forestry exposure, within a Lloyds Broker.
EXPERIENCE OF PRODUCING SLIPS AND ENDORCEMENTS IS KEY TO THIS ROLE. YOUR CV NEEDS TO DEMONSTRATE THIS.
You will be using the
Global
system.
The workload is heavy at times, so we are looking for someone with a can-do attitude who is personable and a good team player.
Overview of tasks and responsibilities:
Producing documentation, predominantly
MRC’s and Endorsements
, also some Certificate issuance. Preparing and typing of letters / emails and other correspondence Maintaining online filing and archiving systems Entering Data onto the Global system Obtaining Bureau Signings as applicable Arranging extension to terms of trade Calculating of pro-rata / short rate additional/return premiums
