Role Overview:

As an Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and mentoring a team of highly skilled software engineers. You will be responsible for driving the technical direction of the company, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative engineering culture.
  • Define the technical strategy and set the roadmap in collaboration with other leaders in the company.
  • Ensure the team delivers scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions, adhering to best practices.
  • Drive architecture decisions, code reviews, and tech stack modernization initiatives.
  • Manage the development process, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Partner with product management to ensure alignment between business objectives and engineering execution.
  • Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with business goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, especially within fintech, and recommend tools and technologies that enhance the product and engineering workflow.


Requirements:

Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role in a technology-driven environment, preferably in fintech or financial services.
  • Excellent background in software engineering, as well as management or leadership position.


Skills:

  • Strong background in software development (Java, Python, Node.js, or similar), cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with fintech products, payment systems, or financial applications is a significant advantage.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modern development frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
