Product Designer

Role: Product Designer Location: Cambridge Work model: Hybrid (2 days WFH) Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 DOE I'm representing a client who is seeking an experienced Product Designer to join the team. This is a really exciting opportunity to join a dynamic company that is expanding quickly and to work in an environment that values creativity, collaboration, and forward-thinking design solutions. Essential skills: - 5+ years of experience in product design, preferably in the entertainment industry but not necessary - Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design or a related field - Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant software such as SolidWorks - A strong portfolio showcasing your design process, from concept to final product - Excellent communication skills, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment Key Responsibilities: - Develop creative ideas and concepts for new products, based on market research and user feedback - Conduct user research and apply findings to create designs that meet the needs and expectations of our target audience - Create detailed prototypes - Work closely with cross-functional teams, to ensure product designs are feasible and aligned with business objectives - Oversee the design process from concept to final production, ensuring that all products are of the highest quality and meet design specifications - Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to select materials and processes that align with the product's design and sustainability goals Please attach a copy of your most recent portfolio.
